Right, come on, someone give me prompts to work with, because apparently Thor/Jane/Tony fic won't get produced otherwise.

Here's a snippet of something, if you'd like!

Jane punches Tony in the arm because she's really sick of him having comebacks to everything, and he says "Ow," and she thinks he might be making fun of her, but maybe not; she's used to doing it to Thor, and his standards are different.

"Think of something else to do," Jane tells them both, draining her margarita and taking the pitcher from Thor.

"God, I thought you were never gonna ask." Tony gets up, and before Jane can ask him what that's supposed to mean, he's shoving in between her and Thor. "Come on, clear some space," he orders.

"What the hell? Why?" she asks, and then he's kissing her.

Come on now. I am promising...200 words. You get 200 words if you leave me a Thor/Tony/Jane prompt. Obvs foursomes with Pepper are totally welcome. Just, any combination of the four of them except for just plain Tony/Pepper, because idk, there's plenty of it already and Thor is the one that actually gets me fired up, writing-wise.

okay this is not exactly what you asked for, but I ran with the whole comparison idea, and I really love this prompt, so probably there will be another attempt later b/c I am having a lot of fun just trying for ficlets. <3!!!

Light and thunder in her ears, in her blood -- Jane rests her forehead against Pepper's and remembers, with the press of Pepper's mouth against hers, that it's Tony's cock inside of her, for once, that the light is on Pepper's face from over Jane's shoulder. Tony's fingertips dig into her waist, slender; she'd swear she could feel the difference between his fingernails and Thor's, except that Tony drives her against Pepper and Thor drives Pepper against her, and Pepper's mouth is on hers, and --

Jane spent a semester on an internship in Langley, and when Thor blinks at her, she recognizes the weight on him, on his eyelids, as that of a storm, of the summer. New Mexico has storms rolling across the flats, dramatic as hell, but the weight of the air -- maybe that's something special. Maybe that's why his eyelids fall shut, why hers do, too.

(Really, she'll note later -- really, it's not all that ridiculous, the fingernail thing. Tony has daily makeup sessions, for fuck's sake, it's shocking that his manicures are only weekly.)

Fuck it -- fuck everything but this moment, when there's only skin and warmth. She can figure out whose touch was whose later.

...well now it's actually turning into a full-fledged story, why. At any rate, here are the first two paragraphs!

With Tony, it's easier to squint her eyes and tilt her head and pretend he makes sense to someone. There's an assumption that if you're a scientist you must understand anything that's not verbs. The reality is, Jane's an astrophysicist. She couldn't tell you anything about biology or chemistry. Never mind organic versus inorganic chemistry. Hell, there are some parts of astronomy, the parts where it bleeds into cosmology, which is where it bleeds into philosophy -- she couldn't tell you about why the computer is making that noise oh god why is it crashing, please don't tell me it's lost my entire afternoon of data, don't tell me I should've saved it, Darcy, I thought they did that for you by now, why don't they do that for you?

The point is that Tony, she can ignore.

As much as Tony will allow anyone to ignore him, which -- well.

Rephrasing. Engineering isn't Jane's specialty. There's plenty about the universe that she doesn't understand -- there are more things in heaven and earth, even, look, she didn't entirely neglect her humanities.

	Hahaha oh yes, Tony does not take being ignored well, and I suspect Jane read a lot of Norse mythology and things based on same (oh, Tolkien) when Thor didn't come back right away. ugh idek, I am terrible at science too, b/c I get too excited and go on article-hopping journeys, BUT then I remember that I can handwave it by doing Thor POV! so, uh, here?

Natasha and Clint have taken him to the ice, Natasha muttering, then shouting, in Russian, so that they must finally leave when a fellow called Ovie begins shouting back. Steve has introduced him to the mighty tale of the Mets and the Yankees. Tony could tell him nought of the full length of the tournament, but takes great pleasure in his tickets for the Final Four, "right on the free-throw line, buddy, I have so many jokes about the things we'd be able to see if Penn State were playing, but America will only put up with so much from me." This is a world that knows and loves games, that treasures its sports, that understands the value of games and athletes.

But Thor's favorite sport, thus far, is this: lying (well sated and then some) with Jane and Tony sprawled (likewise) on either side of him, tossing ideas back and forth as fiercely as any athletes Thor ever saw. They are as wizards to him, of course, arguing on the feasibility of this or the likelihood of that, but Thor understands very well the way Jane's voice climbs just a rung on the ladder of pitch, the better to counter Tony's ever-faster banter.

For his own self, Thor can't imagine how they still have the energy for it, expects every time that they will only lull him to sleep.

"Look," Jane says, "you don't pay me to agree with you, and maybe that's why everyone's let you get away with spreading the idea that -- "

"Oh, I'm getting away with things? Tell me, Doctor Foster, how many grants have you -- "

Thor has his strength back. Gasps from Jane and Tony -- her warmth against his left hand, his first two fingers sliding into the damp of her -- his right curled about the length of Tony, his thumb finding the head of Tony's cock -- Thor grins, pleased to remind them that he mustn't be counted out of the game just yet.

"Hey there," Tony mumbles, dropping his mouth to Thor's throat. "Hi. Sorry. Did we wake you, sweetie?"

Jane's laughter drips onto them both like rain. Her nails slide along his thigh when he pushes his fingers deeper; Thor shivers, but before he can kiss her, Tony is there -- or nearly there, his mouth so near to Jane's that if Thor weren't here, below the two of them, he'd think they were kissing already.

"Doctor Foster," Tony breathes.

"Mister Stark," Jane answers.

Thor tightens his hold on both of them, and they do kiss, then.

And then -- because of course that was the point of this, that they realize he ought not be counted out just yet -- then, their breathing heavy, they turn to look at him.
